Breeding Technician
at Hernando in Wainwright, Alberta
Primary responsibilities of the position will include: various lab duties, ensuring proper health, nutrition and comfort of the boars,sows and general care of the housing facility.
The successful candidate will be a person possessing: a strong work ethic, the capacity to work patiently with animals, good orgnizational skills, good communication skills, a desire to learn, the ability to work as a team member. The ability to work a variety of shifts is required.
Previous experience working in a swine operation and/or keen interest and a willingness to learn would be considered assets.
